Director Beth Wolf sets Tom Stoppard’s classic re-imagining of Hamlet in a Steampunk world, the unique visual aesthetic that typically blends Victorian elements with steam-powered machinery, clockwork, and gears. The Steampunk aesthetic blends worlds – both the past and an imagined future – just as Stoppard blends the traditional with the unknown.

Truly intoxicating theatre….Beth Wolf’s direction is tight and focused in the face of the breathless pacing that’s required, and she has wisely ensured that her main men are only dimly aware of their irony-filled lives (as opposed to other, more tongue-in-cheek interpretations). …the production could be performed in burlap sacks on hay bales and still be stunning. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead is a roller coaster ride of heady brilliance, but taken with these two poignant, pathetic paupers, it’s one of the most rewarding trips in theaterdom.

People who would like this show are people who like philosophical discoveries, best friends, and laughing your face and your butt off. People should definitely go and see this show…. This is an amazing show, and it is funny, and I actually learned a lot during this show.
